Computers (August 19, 2002, 0) - I spent the whole day looking for a subnotebook. The LifeBook and
PictureBook look very interesting, but I definitely need a 2.5″ to
3.5″ IDE connector.
Started setting up a mail server. Cyrus21 is weird. Might be a good
idea to make the IntranetServer next weekend’s project.
Cyrus21 (April 5, 2004, 0) - I dusted off the Linux computer I’d set up previously, uninstalled
courier, and started an installation of cyrus21. Squirrelmail’s still
installed and configured, but the IMAP server needs some tweaking.
We’ll get mail up and running first before we worry about files and
ARRRGGGH! Mail blackhole! (November 1, 2004, 0) - I have just discovered that cyrus has been silently dropping my mail
since October 29. I don’t understand why it would accept some of my
mail and then start dropping them. This is terrible, as I don’t cc

Mail problems (October 26, 2004, 0) - cyrus (Hiya, Jijo!) is dropping mail from me again, so I have to send
mail using my own MTA for now. Unfortunately, many sites block me.
Should really get in touch with Jijo soon.
VPN! (September 27, 2006, 0) - Hooray! Finally! Network access from my laptop Just Works!
This means I can work on my research from my regular computer instead
of cramming it into one day a week. I just need to figure out how I
can free up more space on this system…
