By default, the Emacs 24 package manager (M-x package-list-packages) points to a small repository of Emacs packages. Want more? Phil Hagelberg added support for multiple repositories to package.el. There’s the original ELPA at http://tromey.com/elpa, and there’s a community package source called Marmalade that anyone can upload packages to. Add

that provides Freshmeat news with the right subjects! Yay. I am
definitely going to use this instead of the mailed digests, which have
a nasty habit of piling up in my archives and are much less fun to
browse through than a newsgroup…
Drupal: Making our build system better (September 15, 2008, 2) - Hooray! We have running code, and we’re about to make another release after our code exits quality assurance. This means, of course, that we’ll need some way to differentiate the inevitable bugfixes that the next production release will require, and development of new features.
