Spending time with my mom (September 12, 2005, 0) - One of the best things about keeping a TODO list is being able to
spend time on things that are important to me.
My mom is leaving in a few days, and today my TODO list reassured me
that I can spend time with her and still know that the important
things I needed to do are either all
dean’s awards (February 24, 2003, 0) - Mmm, looks like I’m helping judge. =) March 3 and 4 are required.
We’ll get the papers now, so we have until the 28th to read and rate
the papers. On the 28th, submit the results to the office and the
chair of the committee. That’s when you get the 5 finalists. Everybody
reads all the papers except those
Trudging along (January 5, 2007, 0) - Somehow I thought I’d be happier working on this, but it’s
frustrating. Inching along, bit by bit, trying to figure out something
I miss feeling brilliant. <wry grin> That’s part of it. It
frustrates me that I’m learning Rails bit by bit instead of
immediately being able to do what I want. I shouldn’t get frustrated
about things that are
