Piano lesson week 2 (July 28, 2011, 1) - I’m starting to get the hang of the first part of the overture from “Raymond” and this bluesy sort of piece from Alfred’s Basic Adult Piano course. It’s a bit mind-boggling, trying to figure out how to play staccato with my right hand while playing smooth, connected notes with my left. I find it helps
Drupal Gotcha: Watch out for $user during update.php (March 19, 2009, 4) - If you disable access-checking on your update.php, there’s no guarantee that the update script will be run with the superuser as the active user. This could mess up your update functions that delete nodes or use other access permissions.
To fix this, temporarily assume the identity of the superuser in the update functions that need it:
