Visual notes – Gary Vaynerchuk and Democamp Toronto 24

Funny aside: When Jay Goldman handed Gary Vaynerchuk a bottle of water, Gary offered it for sale. Little things like that reinforce story.

Key take-aways: Passion and patience are everything. Hustle. Out-care others. Offer good stuff. Pay attention to everything. How do you scale? By trying.

Notes from the demos and the pub, before I broke my fountain pen:

Explanations for scribbles upon request, or when I can make time for it! =)

    Hi !
it’s always been nice to read your perceptions and insights on an event..
    Please keep offering ‘take-aways’

    Thank you.
Plus, I like the new hand-drawn sidebar on left.

Hey Sasha – love the visual notes on last night! I actually left the room during Gary’s part of the evening because I resented being shilled to, but I think you’ve distilled Gary’s key points into a much more palatable-to-me format.

We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to interview Gary Vaynerchuk at Fame Foundry. Listen to what Gary Vee says about social media.

Wow, Sacha! I think you got more out of Gary’s speech written down than I ever could. I wish I had the ability to draw out thoughts like you!

Glad I got to see you again, and can’t wait for the next DemoCamp. And if your talent at visual notes is something that can be trained, I’d love to pick up how to go about it…
