Weekly report – February 17, 2008

| weekly

It’s been a good week for experiments. I gave a presentation on Web 2.0 and the enterprise to a large financial institution, and I took responsibility for the second half of a Web 2.0 workshop at a publishing company. On a personal note, I tried outsourcing some of my online research to virtualworkdesk.com, ordering gifts (and a suit!) off eBay.ca, and entering data into Geni.

Here’s what my week looked like:

  • Monday: PHP coding, rehearsed and delivered presentation on Web 2.0
  • Tuesday: Continued working on social media guide; back-to-back meetings
  • Wednesday: Worked on PHP modules
  • Thursday: Delivered workshop
  • Friday: Continued working on social media guide; presented guide to internal consulting team
  • Saturday: Marathon shopping trip for pasalubong, little gifts to give to friends and family

My goals for next week are to:

  • prepare articles and presentations for the two next talks on my horizon, which have both hit “urgent” status at the same time
  • finish the audio and video modules
  • turn the social media guide over to internal consultants
  • get an idea of the help I can expect from a virtual assistant

Oh, and it would be nice to sort out Ledger envelope budgeting again… =)
