1. Multilingual MOO -- research
Categories: None -- Permalink
Warm and fuzzy feeling of accomplishment! Finally got accented French
characters to work under the enCore database for LambdaMOO. Followed
the advice of
ftp://cmc.uib.no/pub/LambdaMOO/international-patch/README.international
and edited the server.c to use #include and setlocale(LC_CTYPE, "") in
int main(). Also, set LANG=fr_FR, LC_ALL=fr_FR and LC_CTPE=fr_FR in
restart and restart.sh (doesn't hurt to be sure). Works with Pueblo.
Yay!
Now that that's out of the way, I can learn more about LambdaMOO. Let me just say this - enCore is way cool.
