2. Booting madness

A frantic call from Dad earlier tipped me off to the fact that I
hadn't quite removed all traces of Linux from the Vaio - I'd forgotten
about LILO, and now the bootloader was complaining noisily. Long story
short (beware of alphabet soup!) - netbooted GRUB through PXE. Thanks
to shiwan and Kanashim_!
3. Girl's Day!

Yesterday was Girl's Day. I met with Diane and Kendra over hot
chocolate at Serg's Cafe, then we went shopping. Watched League of
Extraordinary Gentlemen again. Splurged on a black silk cheongsam for
Tuesday's exam.
I feel very, very good, and very, very girl.
