Notes
1. Organizing my research
Right now I'm using index cards for raw notes. (Ooh. I feel a D*I*Y Planner article coming on...) Anyway, these index cards are great for temporary notes, but I'm going to need to rewrite and search them later on. I might end up sticking everything into a Planner page because that'll let me hyperlink to PDFs.
I'll also need to keep track of my bibliography. <nop>BiBTeX would be a great way for me to keep track of my bibliography in ready-to-include-and-typeset format. As a bonus, CiteULike.org works with BiBTeX. Hooray!
I want to write short articles digging up nuggets from research papers. I'll think of them as mini-papers, which will naturally kick me into research high-gear _and_ be neat deliverables for my research supervisor who is by now probably worried about my lack of progress.
Right. Weekly blogging for my research supervisor and the world in general. Meticulously written and researched. I can do that.
This Friday: <b>blogging as personal knowledge management.</b>
