Hello, all ... There has been a slight change in the Course Outline for session 7 of FIS 2186. Jennifer Trant will be talking about folksonomies, in general, and about their particular application within the art museums domain. This will afford us a look at the emerging phenomenon of "social tagging", as well as a focus on metadata in the museums context. I have posted some articles on Folksonomies in the Class 7 folder on FIS 2186 BSCW. You might want to check these out in advance of Ms. Trant's presentation, February 28th.
