Lentil lunacy (September 27, 2005, 0) - I will never underestimate lentils again. They give me a warm and
fuzzy feeling of being quite full. A bit too full. I could’ve
saved half of the soup for tomorrow… =)
Reflection on 2003.10.30 (October 31, 2003, 0) - Hacked on planner.el and planner-id.el. Practically rewrote
planner-id.el, in fact, as I wanted to use an alist of data instead.
Have gotten it mostly working.
Played an amusing real-time card game named “Falling.” The objective
of the game is simply to hit the ground _last_. Exciting play,
although the table can get fairly messy. Might be something fun for
Group reviews (December 15, 2003, 0) - Watching the students help each other review gives me a warm and fuzzy
feeling. I know they’ll probably think it’s a way for me to get out of
teaching – and who knows, that’ll probably affect my evaluations – but
I think that in their communal meaning-making, they’re learning a lot
more than from my lectures.
