Poi

Just got back from Roxas Boulevard and my first stint as an apprentice arsonist. My sister Kathy did her first public performance of poi with her new Wolf's Revenge fire poi set. Wonderful stuff, although the cable wrapped around her skin at one point, causing a small first-degree burn.
I've more or less figured out the weave pattern, although I still lose it every so often. I'll borrow Kathy's practice poi. Don't think I'll be lighting up any time soon. It's surprisingly fun, though...
