Microsoft Excel - Alt-Enter

Jennifer Nolan reminded me tha Alt-Enter lets you put multiline text into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. I'd ran across it before, but hadn't remembered it until she pointed it out. =) Thought I'd pass it on!

This was one of those things that I learned long after I had been using Excel. It really helps when you want to put stuff together.

Another helper I learned is that if you put a single quote before dashes, then you can have a pseudo-bulleted list. Otherwise Excel things the - is a function. Excel hides the single quote too.

'- one
- two
