A- said “Leia,” the name of one of our cats. She was interested in Ziploc bags, the toothbrush, keys, a light table, and nuts and bolts. She pretended to read, and she wanted Sheep and Giraffe to have diapers. She fake-snored at bedtime and resisted going to sleep. I took her to the swimming pool, the thrift store, the pediatrician, and the dentist. She asked J- to pick her up, and she wanted to chase. She liked helping with the dishes.

I booked our flights and hotel reservations, bought a water bottle, and put together paperwork for our trip.
