| emacs, emacs-newsLexical binding: If you've recently updated to Emacs 31 and you've gotten warnings about lexical-binding, add:
;;; -*- lexical-binding: t -*-
to the very top of your Emacs configuration files. Alternatively, you can suppress the warning with something like (add-to-list 'warning-suppress-types '(files missing-lexbind-cookie)). There are more details on lexical-binding in the Elisp info manual.
